SOFTWARE FOR ONLINE TUTORING

Online Meeting Room

To work online, the tutor and the student log on to the online meeting room. Its main features are

• Voice
• Text chat
• Whiteboard
• Power Point presentations
• Web browser

To make the session more effective, we recommend you use a headset. If the headset is not available, you will be able to communicate with the tutor by typing in a text chat and writing on the whiteboard. To use our online meeting software, your computer has to meet the following hardware and software requirements:

Note: To log in to the meeting room, enter your name and click on the "enter Meeting room" button. The first time you enter the meeting room, it will activate an "automatic download and launch" (that can take up to one minute to install and configure). After it has downloaded the first time, it doesn't need to repeat that step again unless an upgrade has been added.

We will help you to set up for online tutoring and show how the meeting room works at no charge for you.

Please note that all the software we use is absolutely free for you. You do not have to pay any extra fees for using the software in addition to the Online tutoring service fee ($30/hour).
